So I had a little catastrophe with my vet list. I used to have a page here on my blog that had a long list of veterinarians in the US that treat pet rats. Unfortunately, that page kept crashing because my list of vets was too long! As frustrating as that was, I was kinda pleased- it meant that I had a really comprehensive list of vets available for you guys, my readers. And that put a smile on my face...in between the words of profanity that escaped me from time to time as I watched entry after entry have to be retyped due to "error occurred while trying to save or publish" my work. Okay, so I guess it wasn't really a catastrophe, LOL! It actually turned out to be a good thing! Now I am happy to report that all those vets, plus many more, have been moved to their very own website- all organized alphabetically by state. Now it's even easier to find a rat vet in your area!

| My huge stack of vet entries I have to go through! |
My big project right now is to take the 94 pages of rat veterinarians I have gotten from other sites, forums, and readers submissions and get them into the system too. I have to first go through and pick out any duplicate entries, compare what I have already posted, highlight those I need to add, and then enter those that need to be entered. There is about 12 entries per page. We are talking about over 1,000 vet entries I have to look at! EEK!
My goal is to have the most comprehensive rat vet list on the web. I do hope that you all will help me with this daunting task and email me any vets that I might have missed (send me ones you KNOW treat rats) and let me know if any that I have entered no longer see rat patients or have change any other part of their information I have listed. I could not do this without you guys! Thanks to all who have contributed so far! I do hope that this site will be of use to you!
That is a big job and I am sure many rat owners are very happy to have that information. I would if I was a rat owner.
